In September 2012, O’Connor Electric worked on the construction of a new forensic identification and command centre for the Ontario Provincial Police.
Key highlights of the project included the construction of a Full Identification Unit complete with training rooms, offices, labs, and garages. It also included 400A main service 347/600V, a high voltage substation, bi-fuel parallel natural gas generators, site electrical work, parking lot lighting, and a complete data comm system. As part of the P3 Contract,
we were also asked to participate in value engineering to keep the project on budget.
